For the 6th year, Warren will co-produce the Black August Series in partnership with the Center and Library for the Bible and Social Justice. “Acts for Abolition,” an online mini-course on the Book of Acts, led by Rev. Dr. Jeremy Williams.
In each session we will dive into a portion of the book of Acts that addresses the themes of imprisonment, truthtelling and release, and consider what these stories have to say to our movements for abolition democracy today.

Warren Cooper will be the substitute vocalist with the Arpeggio Jazz Ensemble for a celebration of the music and poetry of Gil Scott-Heron. This performance is part of the Woodmere Museum Summer Jazz Series.

Warren serves as the Worship Music Leader for the worshipping community known as UCC East Goshen in West Chester, PA.
